As technical perfection has become increasingly emphasized, horn players seek instruments that offer greater stability and security while maintaining the ideal romantic sound. The challenge was to combine the rich tone of the Bb horn with the enhanced intonation security of the high horn. The Model 107 also allows for extending the high F horn with the natural harmonics of the low F tuning.
