GRIEGO-Classic Bass Trombone Mouthpiece Model 1 NOVEAU Silver-plated

Orchestral players who use 59 or 1¼ size mouthpieces will love the sound of the Griego 1. Most bass trombone mouthpieces are unbalanced, resulting in too wide a range of sound and tonal characteristics across different registers. Great attention has been given to balancing the cup, throat, and backbore of these mouthpieces. The final result is a mouthpiece that maintains tonal color regardless of tessitura. The upper register retains core sound without spreading, while the lower register is full and powerful.

The newest lightweight design in the Nouveau series was created to give trombonists the flexibility that a lighter mouthpiece can provide. It offers a broad sound range and better playability. Each note and tone can be controlled and shaped, making the Nouveau a highly expressive mouthpiece.

Griego mouthpieces are comprehensively designed for orchestral, commercial, and jazz musicians. Griego is a family-owned company dedicated to designing and producing the finest mouthpieces imaginable. We design them with the experience of musicians worldwide. The accessories you use are the result of ideas, experience, and inspiration from a large family of musicians we trust.
