J. SCHERZER 8228-1-0 Bb Trumpet, lacquered, 3 rotary valves, with case

The new Scherzer Bb-Trumpet model 8228 was developed in close cooperation with Helmut Fuchs (Staatskapelle Dresden, phil Blech Wien) and resembles a leaner “Austrian” sound with a distinct character and an elegant, brilliant sound.

Valves: Conical rotary valve, 3B linkage system
Features: Gold brass body, 3rd valve slide trigger, 2 interchangeable lead pipes: sterling silver "ST" (brilliant, easy high register), yellow brass lead pipe "MS" (responsive low register), 2 long lever-style water keys
Options: Special and universal Vienna key, double trigger for 1st and 3rd valve slide, yellow brass bell
Finish: Clear lacquered finish or silver plated finish
Outfit: Hard wood-shell case, mouthpiece, rotor oil, slide grease, torx/Allen wrenches, cleaning cloth, and rod
