The new Melton Meinl Weston 4260 “Tradition” F tuba (available with 5 or 6 rotary valves) is an elegant orchestral instrument. Its light and precise construction, with hand-hammered bows made from sheet brass, provides exceptional clarity in the upper register and a deep, resonant sound with remarkably easy response in the middle and high registers. The unmatched note separation allows players to achieve a clean and articulate tone even in fast and demanding passages.
