Taking inspiration from artist musicians and proud to show our strong attachment to the unique village of Quarna Sotto, our home above Lake Orta in the Northwest part of the Italian Alps, we offer the TWO VOICES Saxophone series, which reflects the sound of Quarna and its surroundings. The TWO VOICES series represents this unique Quarna sound, achieved through our passionate research and experiments in offering musicians a new saxophone voice. This effect is obtained by carefully and thoughtfully combining bronze and solid silver in the instrument’s construction, and in homage to the artist CARLO CASANOVA (The Last of the Romantics; 1871 Crema - 1950 Quarna Sotto), by engraving his renowned etching “Two Voices” on the instrument, illustrating the village’s two main church towers. Each TWO VOICES saxophone is adorned with a highly detailed and intricate engraving, directly depicting the church towers from Casanova’s artwork. Nothing could better describe our new saxophone line.
