"New Solfège" is a modern textbook designed for ear training classes in first-level music schools. The publication is intended for children beginning their studies in a four-year programme as well as students of six-year programmes and general music schools, where it can serve as a supplement to the "Our Music" textbook series.

The book stands out for its extensive and carefully selected repertoire, containing nearly one thousand solfège and rhythm exercises, including both monophonic and polyphonic examples. The material includes instrumental repertoire from all musical periods, 19th-century composers' songs, contemporary children's songs and folk melodies from various countries. The most famous classical compositions are marked with the "HIT" symbol.
