OPIS PRODUKTU

Szymanowski Karol: Polish Christmas Carols and Pastorales for solo vibraphone/piano vol. 1

The collection "Polish Christmas Carols and Pastorales" by Karol Szymanowski contains Polish Christmas carols and pastorales in ambitious arrangements for solo vibraphone. The pieces also work very well when performed on piano.

The first volume has an educational character and challenges the performer to present the carols in all 12 major keys, arranged chromatically from C major to B major. This concept refers to Bach's idea of the cycle of preludes and fugues, helping to develop fluent movement through the circle of fifths and improve technical skills.

The publication is a valuable educational resource for students, advanced musicians and performers looking for ambitious repertoire combining artistic qualities with practical musical development.

The collection has received excellent recommendations from renowned musicians, including Zygmunt Rychert, Krzysztof Herdzin, Jan Pilich and Radosław Marzec.
