Description: This publication is a unique collection of Polish secular polyphonic songs from the 16th century. For the first time, all currently discovered Polish secular polyphonic songs of this type have been brought together in a single edition, including works of social, historical and occasional character.

Each piece is provided with its complete text and a brief historical commentary. The edition also includes a list of sources and previous editions, while some of the compositions are published here for the first time. With settings ranging from three to six voices, the collection is particularly suitable for ensembles specialising in early music and the performance of Polish Renaissance repertoire.
