VANDOREN V12 reeds for Bb clarinet - 3.0 (10)

The V12 designation comes from the thickness of the reed (0.124 inches). V12 reeds are made from cane stems with the same diameter as those used for alto saxophone reeds. The specific manufacturing process gives these reeds a thicker heel and slightly thicker tip compared to Traditional reeds, resulting in deeper and richer sounds. The thicker tip extends the reed and supports the sound attack. For comparison: V12 reeds with strength 4 correspond to Traditional reeds with strength 3½.
