VANDOREN V12 reeds for bass clarinet - 3.5 (5)

V12 reeds are made from cane tubes with the same diameter as those used for alto saxophone reeds. Specific processing gives these reeds a thicker heel and slightly thicker tip than Traditional reeds, resulting in deeper and richer sounds. The thicker tip lengthens the reed itself and enhances the attack of the sound. For comparison: V12 reeds with a strength of 4 correspond to Traditional reeds with a strength of 3½.
