VIC FIRTH American Classic X55A drumsticks

The American Classic series is Vic Firth’s most popular line of drumsticks. It includes nearly 20 core models — from the thin HD4 to the heavy Metal — differing in tip shape, taper and weight. The sticks are made from select hickory, offering durability, comfortable playability and good sound. Some models are also available with nylon tips for a brighter cymbal attack.

The X55A size is an intermediate model between 5A and 5B. The Extreme version is extended by approximately 1 cm compared to the standard version. It features a tear-drop wooden tip.
