VIC FIRTH American Classic X55B drumsticks

The American Classic series is Vic Firth’s most popular line of drumsticks. It features nearly 20 core models — from the slim HD4 to the heavy Metal — varying in tip shape, taper and weight. The sticks are made from select hickory, offering high durability, playing comfort and solid sound. Some models are also available with nylon tips for a brighter cymbal attack.

The X55B size is slightly thicker than the 5B model and 0.5" longer. It features a tear-drop tip. Excellent sticks for rock drummers who find the 5B model a bit too short. The X55B model transfers energy and power very effectively, making it a great choice for hard-hitting players.
