YAMAHA Bb Tuba YBB-632S lacquered, with case

The new Yamaha BBb tubas were developed in collaboration with Simon Grasswell. With input from leading artists, Yamaha has created a musician-friendly instrument that meets the needs of even the most demanding performers. The new design features a large 500mm bell, delivering exceptionally clear and deep sound with high projection.

Increased Bell Diameter

This tuba boasts a 500mm bell diameter, the largest among Yamaha BBb tubas. The larger bell dimensions offer improved dynamic range and a more robust sound.

Bore Size

The enlarged bore ensures freer airflow and balanced resistance.

Redesigned Valve Positions

The new design includes significantly more comfortable and ergonomic positions for the first three valves.

Handrest Design

The semicircular handrest shape improves grip and significantly reduces hand fatigue during extended play.

Enhanced Adjustment System

The redesigned mouthpiece angle and position ensure a more natural playing posture.

Enlarged Brace

The enlarged brace on the bell enhances instrument durability and provides moderate airflow resistance.
