The tuning slide system of the main tube, added to the popular Neo YEP-624S series, ensures increased tonal precision for the instrument.

Main Tube Tuning Slide System

The main tube tuning slide system provides precise tonal control and a solid sound. A special lever allows you to lower the pitch with high accuracy during play. Releasing the lever restores the initial tuning. To tune the instrument before playing, loosen the screw at the base of the slide and set the tuning slide position according to your preference. Then, tighten the screw to lock the slide in the desired position.

*The set includes a special key for adjusting the tilt angle of the tuning lever and an instruction manual for the tuning slides.

Adjustable Tuning Slide System

The position, tilt angle, and pressure of the lever can be adjusted to customize the tuning slide system for greater user comfort.

1. Lever tilt adjustment. A special key included in the set allows loosening the lever screws to set it in an upright position and adjust the tilt angle according to your preference.

2. Lever pressure adjustment. The lever pressure can be adjusted by tightening the screw with a standard flat-head screwdriver to achieve the desired pressure.

Specially Designed Tuning Slide Mechanism

The euphonium's tuning mechanism features a specially designed base to which the slide rod is attached. Additionally, the diameter of the profile in the main tube has been reduced to ensure smoother operation of the entire mechanism.

Metal Cover for the Tuning Slide

The metal cover for the tuning slide provides additional protection to prevent oiled parts from soiling clothes while playing the instrument. Loosening the mounting screw makes it easy to adjust the cover’s position according to your preference.
