The body, headjoint, mechanism, and lip plate are made of nickel-silver with a high-quality silver-plated finish. The craftsmanship and technical details are similar to those of the 300 and 400 series models. It is characterized by a beautiful sound and excellent intonation.

Yamaha 200 series flutes are hand-tuned with exceptional care and undergo a rigorous inspection and testing process. The headjoint, body, footjoint, and keys are made of nickel-silver.

CY Headjoint

The double-lip plate and uniquely shaped embouchure hole ensure quick response and a rich, warm tone. The CY headjoint makes it easier for beginners to control their tone, while more advanced players will appreciate its even and quick response across all registers.

Key Posts

The key posts are thickened and specially shaped to enhance durability and maintain proper alignment with the rod axis.

Keys

The shape and arrangement of the keys are designed for comfort and a natural hand position while playing. All keys are hand-assembled and adjusted for perfect balance and touch.

Adjustment Screws
