Toneholes

The tonehole walls are slightly raised inside the barrel, giving the flutes a light and spacious sound.

Key Types

Covered (Plateau) keys are easy to use. The key pads are very airtight and perfectly cover the toneholes during play. This solution will surely be appreciated by both beginner musicians and those who sometimes press the keys unevenly.

Many advanced flutists prefer the open ring key design for greater control over the instrument's intonation. The Intermediate and Standard models of flutes with the French key system have been enhanced with additional key plugs, making it easier to handle the flute until mastering the use of open keys.

Key Systems

A wide range of flutists believe that the Offset G configuration makes playing the flute easier. Teachers often recommend this type of flute to beginner musicians. More advanced flutists also appreciate this configuration, as it provides a natural finger placement on the keys. However, the traditional in-line format, where the toneholes are aligned in a straight line, still has many supporters.

E-Mechanism

An additional key provides greater stability and a better-centered intonation of high E.

Footjoints

The B footjoint has an additional key that allows playing half a tone lower than the lowest pitch of the C footjoint. Additionally, it affects the sound. The B footjoint produces darker and more pronounced tones while maintaining good projection, whereas the C footjoint offers a more flexible, warmer tone.
