YAMAHA YHR-869D double horn F/Bb, lacquered, detachable bell, with case

YAMAHA YHR-869D double horn F/Bb, lacquered, detachable bell, with case

The YHR-869D double horn features a detachable medium-sized bell made of yellow brass.

The bore size is 12.1mm.

The instrument is lacquered and includes F/Bb tuning switches, an adjustable pinky hook, and a water key.

The new leadpipe design ensures a comfortable level of resistance and a well-balanced tonal distribution, making legato playing easier. The horn's expressive capabilities have been significantly enhanced.

Heavy valves contribute to a rich timbre and resonance.

Hard German silver inner and outer tuning slides

Using hard German silver reduces breakdown risks while maintaining a quick response.

The narrow medium-sized bell plays a key role in creating the vibrant tone of this horn.

Three-dimensional adjustable pinky hook

It can be adjusted to fit the player’s hand size, providing perfectly positioned and comfortable handling.

High-precision bearings enhance lever action response, and the phosphor-bronze bearing in the brass valve casing maximizes overall durability.

A newly designed mouthpiece maximizes the performance of the YHR-869. The new mouthpiece features a narrower rim than conventional types for improved playability and versatility. Precise adjustments in the transition from cup to throat ensure richer harmonics and better projection.
